Aldi at Sunnybank Hills Qld has Bauhn brand cases for iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5 at $2.49 each in their clearance bin.
Package comes with 2 clear sheet protectors. The cases are hard plastic and either clear, black or white. Just bought two 20minutes ago and they still had ~20 there. As they are closing in 5 minutes time, better go early in the morning if you need one.
I got two clear ones from Burwood (VIC) around three weeks ago when they were $2.99. The clear cases fit the 5S as well, the screen protectors I've not tried as I don't use them hence cannot comment.
