FREE OfficeSuite Professional (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF) - iOS Universal (Previously $9.99)

1180

Works on both iPads and iPhones, integrates with all the big cloud storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, SkyDrive etc.

This app is currently free for today only, previously it was $9.99 and has been 99c before but has never been free.

App looks quite nice and is also pretty new, having only been released in July this year. Hope you find it useful!

From the app description in iTunes…

Get it FREE only on October 15th! Then $0.99 until Christmas!

• View, open, edit and create MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF documents
• Save documents to your cloud storage (iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox & SkyDrive)
• Share documents via email
• The only Office solution for iOS that supports PDF files

EDIT: Looks like the app has reverted to 99c in the Australian store. However, if you have an account for the US, UK or Canadian iTunes (and probably others) then you can still get it for free.

OfficeSuite Pro – the #1 selling Office package with over 100 million users in over 200 countries. I find that very hard to believe. It has more 1 star ratings than any other number star, but worth getting incase it improves over time with future updates.

    • It seems they have it on the Play Store and probably for other devices as well that I don't know about. Seems quite popular over there, decent reviews, Editor's Choice status and also quite a lot of users, even though it is almost $15 there!

      • That's very interesting. Is the app exactly the same across both platforms? It looks as though the android app has been out longer and is more refined. That should give us hope that it may become just as good on IOS.

I think the previous price was actually $10.49

yeah, I'm thinking it's probably been around on Android and other platforms for longer. But you're right, if this is anything to go by, the app should receive plenty of updates and refinements over time.

  • Thanks!

  • Review on link…

"The app works really well for a while then crashes after the splash screen. All the documents are lost. A dangerous app."

Expired unless you go to the US store where it's still free (as they are behind us)

Not bad for 99c but its hard to pay that when I know it was free.

      • Will try the US tore and get it for FREE. Because its not even worth 99cents if it doesn't work properly

I use it on Android phone. It's useable enough though it should be noted that in the case of phones this means pretty much a PITA though this isn't the apps fault it's just that I've yet to find any app that implements editing documents on a small touchscreen to be anything else.

As it is I mainly use it to enter values into an spreadsheet that I use to track my fitness goals.
