        I had this same problem last week in the UK, most of the Sony centers over there have closed down yet there's no mention of it happening on their websites…

      No it's not, the RX10 is a step above RX100 and will cost over AUD$1000 - this is the gen 1 RX100 on sale, not the current model RX100 II.

      The RX10 is positioned to sit between RX1 and RX100.

    According to list provided by OP, Sony NEX-5R twins lens kit has pretty good price - $678, providing they're in stock. I know it's not as good as recent Harvey Norman's deal.

      THe RX100 can only record in PAL or NTSC. It doesn't allow both. I believe that the RX100 ii allows for both and also adds 24p.

      I'm actually after the NTSC (overseas model) as it can record 30p(de interlaced from 60i)/60p/60i rather than 25p/50p/50i. There's been a few people test the bitrate vs FPS comparisons (the bitrate is capped the same regardless of region) and found that no real changes in quality are observed. So you basically get smoother video from an overseas model than the domestic one.

      Now if you are using it to shoot for broadcast on Australian TV networks then you would be better off with the domestic model.

        I think Sony should issue a firmware upgrade for RX100 to be able to shoot both 50 and 60 fps.
        I do not think that there is any hardware limitation for that.

    I believe there's no sony centre in adelaide anymore.. Anyone knows whats happening? in Adelaide if I'm not mistaken they are falling behind their rent so they got evicted. A shameful act for a corporate like sony I think
