Booko.com.au directed me to a new UK based bookseller Wordery.com. For the book I was interested in it was the cheapest, beating Amazon and Book Depository by fifty cents or so. Unfortunately I missed the 10% off coupon code on the home page "BOOKS" which would have saved me another dollar.
My book arrived in about a week and all is good so I thought I'd post it.

Oh please. If you don't like stuff, don't buy it - simple. Why get so hysterical about what others want to purchase, it's none of your business! Are you going to go to your local Dymocks, pull anything you consider R-rated off the shelves and demand they burn it, too? Urgh, I cannot stand people that try to impose their beliefs on the world at large.
I checked most of the books I have in my wishlist at Book Depository, and they were still cheaper than Wordery, even with the 10% discount. One of my books was $17 at Wordery and only $13 at BD.
Still, it pays to check. It'll be a swings and roundabouts thing I guess.
Yeah, I think it might depend on the particular books, that's why Booko is such an awesome resource to compare prices. The book I wanted was $5 cheaper on Wordery even without the 10% off :-)
I just got an email that the 10% off coupon expires at the end of October 2013, so just 2 days to go.
