$95 on the Big W website. You were saying?

Plus the majority of the brew cans are cheaper directly from Coopers, add in the additional 10% off and free shipping and it IS a bargain.

IN STORE. YOU KNOW THE WEBSITE AND IN STORE MIGHT BE DIFFERENT PRICING?

        ergh.

        Macquarie Centre Big W - $70

        Mod: Removed personal attack

since when is free shipping a deal?

        • +1

So because one thing that is on the site may be cheaper at some Big W stores, therefore the whole thing isn't a deal? Go troll elsewhere. It's advertised for $95 on the Big W website and only available in store. This deal is available to anyone anywhere in Australia.

Most of the brews are cheaper already, add in the extra 10% off and free delivery and it is a bargain. Plus the fact the last 3-4 times I've gone to Big W they've either been missing the sugar drops, or some of the brew enhances etc.

        • I've never seen it for $70 at any Big W or Kmart store.

Umm it's free shipping & usual 10% off all orders over $50.

So say you goto kmart/Woolies & buy 4 cans of Coopers Pale ale @ $13.75 each (kmart) $15 each (woolies).
Using the above they're $12.15 each shipped to your door. sounds like a bargain to me!

Plus most supermarkets only sell the original series cans and it is a lot more expensive to buy the international series cans from most homebrew stores.

        • -2

all Big W's sell the international series cans (english bitter etc)

The Thomas Cooper series isn't, only at some brew stores. And is also a lot more in brew stores generally, this is just from a quick google - http://www.liquorcraft.com.au/afa.asp?strKeyword=Coopers&idW…

see how he said 'international' series? can you read ?

Hahaha this ShinjukuJR clown has got to be a troll

        • +1

Prove it's at RRP then. Go on.

Your post history definitely just shows you're a troll. Move along.

And there are plenty of deals where free postage is a deal, include the prices which are already also relatively cheap compared to other places, throw in the extra 10% off and it is a bargain.

So, $85.50 delivered for the kit. Sounds perfect for summer, thanks OP!

    • Just a warning that summer is probably the hardest time to start homebrewing because of the hot weather in Australia. You will get awful beer if the temperature is too hot when the beer is fermenting. Make sure you keep the temperature below 24 degrees (under 22 degrees is better).
