Was looking to get a 2DS just to see what the hype is about with Pokemon X Y, then found this from Big W which was the same deal as this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/118837 that was expired.

Current Pricing at the moment

$164 at big w, $150 TGG, $148 EBgames.

Starts 24th October.

      That is very dodgy of Big W. It was written in the previous deal that the price would be $148 after the promotion. The promo only started 12/10 according to the previous post. So how long did Big W sell that at $148 before they jacked up the price to $164? Now, 2 days later it is going to drop back to the original promotion price.

    Same price @ duty free Melbourne Airport if anyone is going out of the country anytime soon.

      But if you buy it at Big-W and take it out of the country isn't it 10% cheaper than buying at duty free?

      Edit: no, my bad. Min spend $300 at one store before you can claim GST back.
