The discounts are shared between ebay and the seller. This also happened with the OG Switch soon after launch, still far too early to say.
I think the other possibility is it’s selling well elsewhere in the world but struggling here.
That's entirely possible, apparently it sold worse than PS5 and Xbox in the UK during the same launch period so there's also that.
@ozb88: Yeah historically Nintendo doesn't do well in the UK from what I've heard, so it's not overly surprising. Stock is pretty frequent though, however I've also been seeing quite a few people out and about just picking up the console. Wouldn't think most would buy it through Kogan or Dick Smith though.
@ozb88: Worse than Xbox? Ouch. Xbox has always struggled massively in the UK. If they can’t even beat Xbox things must be really bad.

Nintendo fans were always gonna scoop them up fast at launch especially with the spectre of the tariffs.
Whether they can keep up the momentum amongst the more casual and "family" user-based when the price is so high, money is so much tighter for a lot of people and there's competition all around is the question.

$680 makes it more stomachable, but this should've been the launch price to begin with for the bundle. It's just too expensive for what it is and the lack of must buy titles. DK doesn't interest me personally
My suspicion is this is the OLED successor and the OG Switch and Lite lines will be merged into a Switch 2 Lite that is a more palatable cheaper alternative for kids and this'll come once the line up is a bit more fleshed out.
Makes a lot of sense to have the Premium product for your die hard users out first who are going to buy it even when the lineup is sparse to start building up the player base and put the cheaper variant out later once there's some more must have titles to convince people to bite the bullet on the cheaper version
@beardelune: I had heard people speculating on a more expensive OLED version of the S2 coming later..
I guess there is also the possibility of an OLED coming in at the same price and the existing S2 dropping.

Got a spend $250 by 15 July and get $30 voucher on ebay - not sure if it’s Targeted.
For comparison, the HN preorder deal was $766 plus 10% ($76) in gift cards, or $690 net, so this is $10 better.
That makes the cost of having it since launch $5 per week.
At that rate, it will be free in 136 weeks or 2.6 years.

What's the ATL for the bundle and the console alone so far?
I havent seen anything beat $660 for the bundle on cashback
But getting the game and console seperate was $580. So I consider the $580 as the ATL from a few days go even though only a few people actually got them.
A sub $600 is going to be a while for that to appear again.

Very few reports of successful orders. Overwhelming majority of orders were cancelled. Some previously placed orders were cancelled in favour of later confirmed orders. Made no sense.
