If you want to go to London… then it's about the same price, with a KL stopover, on a crappier airline. If you want to go anywhere else in Europe, you're out of luck 'cause airasia doesn't go anywhere else from KL.
If you know how to get return flights from Australia to Europe for under $500, please share.

odyssi mate, I've seen your comments in other related posts. Well done on snagging those AirAsia tickets in Feb, but that was a once in a year price. You need to stop harping on about it. I could wait it out hoping for another bargain $700 less than this price but chances are I'd end up in November with no ticket at all and my travel plans ruined.
I posted this because the similar Malaysian Airlines sale sold out very quickly; this is the next best price after it so others in my situation may be interested in it.

22nd Nov is well and truly Low Season, so its not that great a bargain.. it's all supply and demand.

if you quote these prices at Flight Centre they will match and beat the price by $20 for every paying passenger
I got flights for 2 weeks at the end of august (which is still UK summer holiday season). for $1425 which inc tax.
Pure price isn't the only metric with which to judge good flights - some of us prefer using airlines which provide good customer service, reliable flights and in-flight services. Personally, after my last experience with HairRaiseYa I won't be flying with them again.
