Includes delivery eh? Good price then. 7790 is a solid mid-range card. I played Bioshock Infinite on High settings with a 7790 (at 1600x1200, though).

I played on on 1920 x 1080 on Ultra, No AA, fps was hovering around 35-50, a bit higher when overclocking. I have one on my second rig, great bang for buck.

First time I've seen MSY and convenient in the same sentence without not.

cheap, not convenient. refuses australian warranty law.

yeah, great company. if we were in china.

        • They've learnt their lesson. I've never had a warranty issue since they got fined (or before really) and I buy from them at least fortnightly.

  • I just got one from south mel branch, there is no free game for it as the branch officer told me, plz update ur post!!

    • Apologies for this, South Melb did not have the voucher on hand. If you email your contact details or order number to [email protected] we will make sure the game voucher is shipped out separately for you. Hope this helps.

      • thx i will email now

  • Hi Rep.
    I've got the item already.
Just double check, do I need to use AMD or I can use with my intel chip to run this video card? I don't follow computer so much because AMD all over the box so I would like to know whether it is only compatible for AMD only.
I have intel core 2 cpu 6600 with 4gb ram.
When i watch a movie, it won't display a full screen. I already download the latest driver or catalyst version.

If I use VLC looks ok but sometimes lagging but if I use GOM player it is smooth but it won't display full screen.

    Do I miss anything?

    • You can use amd cards with an Intel cpu no worries at all.

Not sure about the video lagging.. maybe the core2 is holding you back. Or try and get a video player which can do hardware video decoding on AMD cards - powerdvd might do it but I haven't looked into this for ages.

      • Thanks. My previous video card (much older probably more than 4 yrs old) didn't have this issue at all.

I tested a bit further, if using VLC, some lagging happen for certain movie and not all the movies but GOM player totally cannot see it in full screen anymore.

edit: update the latest VLC and seems okay now.

Uninstall driver of my previous nvidia.
          continue uninstall driver amd radeon
reinstall and restart pc and it is working now for both VLC and GOM

          Phiewws…finally.

        • Good work :)
