What's your experience with Qwibble

Just curious what everyone else's experiences have been with QWIBBLE.

I've been a member for a few years and find them completely useless. Most of my transactions simply don't show up. When I submit inquiries, they rarely do anything about it and most of the time don't even respond.

I used to have a moneybackco account years ago which worked really well but since xfering to qwibble it has been a complete waste of time.

Just curious how others are faring.

I thought Qwibble was only rebranded from Buckscoop less than a year ago. So your "a few years" membership including the period with Buckscoop?

  • Not sure about buckscoop but I remember getting an email from moneybackco more than a year ago saying I have the option to goto Qwibble (or perhaps it was to buckscoop which later became qwibble?). Either way I'm interested in people's opinions.

If you started with MoneyBackCo, they have been rebranded as StartHere.com.au almost 2 years ago. If you contacted Qwibble (a different company) with your cashback inquires, they'll probably ignore you…

google is your friend…here is the comparison done by one of the ozbargainers about 4 months ago… ozbargain blog

  • Yes I know and I've seen that. I'm interested in people's experiences, not cashback rates and stats.

  • I find their support is less than useless. Between the non-responses and the general unhelpfulness, it is not worth your time contacting them. The last time I contacted them was to ask about why a tracked payment had not been paid. The one sentence response was "the item was tracked and was not paid." The second response after I asked them to elaborate was it was too late to do anything about it.

    • Did you read their Help/FAQs? There is a minimum payout amount of $10 if you choose paypal, and you also need to submit your details… Was the payment showing up as received by Qwibble, or was it awaiting validation?

      • Nah, this isn't to do with payout thresholds. A legitimate sale was put through Dell and came up tracked on the Qwibble website. It never got past this stage and was the reason for the last time I contacted them.

  • Qwibble is utterly useles as a cash back site, you will not get anything back from them, Their support is utterly unhelpfull and its pretty hopeless lodging a case for a missed cashback, which 99% will be missed. Dont bother at all with the site.

  • Wow interesting responses. I have used Qwibble for a number of years (previously Buckscoop) and have found it to be very good. The vast majority of my transactions track and in the cases when they didn't, I submitted queries and they managed to get the cashback for me (has happened twice). Note that they won't follow up queries for amounts less than $1, but you can still submit them for statistical purposes (tracking reliability etc).

I have purchased through Asos, Deals Direct, Booktopia, OO.com.au, Skincare Store, Marks & Spencer, Dell and others and they all tracked and were paid to me with no problem.

  • Hey I have been a buckscoop member for 4-5 years and this is how I become a qwibble member due to buckscoop and the cashback side of it splitting.

I was super impressed with buckscoop and used them all the time, but have only tried a couple of transactions on qwibble this year. Tried one or two last week but it is yet to show :(

Bit disappointed as buckscoop was really good.

Do you guys recommend the new moneybackco instead?

    My total Earnings from buckscoop
$464.78 (so i must have spent a lot of money lol)

  • I have used Qwibble for quite a few transactions and I think all of them have been paid out. No problems from me

  • Recently I got very annoyed because they have failed to track my $78 transaction so I decided to post here. They have also recently paid my total earnings of just over $200 when they failed my $78 claim. All/majority of those earnings were made back when it was still Buckscoop. Since Qwibble took over, very much all the bigger earnings of over $5 have failed to track or rejected for other reason.

Regarding the $200 earnings, I also noticed they never pay me despite I have entered my bank details for over 3 months. They must be thinking of keeping it quiet until I forget about it. Then they must have felt it's too much to try keeping my $200 validated earnings while still rejecting my $78 transaction claim.

Their service do has the preference to drag things for as long as possible. I have to use google calendar to remind me of the due dates to start hassling them again for response. Otherwise, they just close your enquiry hoping you forgot already.
