  At this price point (~$200), its probably worthwhile gambling Kogan 12 month warranty vs Sony local 12 month warranty.

  Does anyone know if I purchase the Nokia 1020 with my Gold card will I get the extra 1 year warranty that the card provides to me on my purchases for Kogan?

    Err that depends on T&Cs of your specific Gold credit card. Having said that I have never seen specific retailers excluded from the extra 1 year warranty offer found on most gold/platinum credit cards.

        some gold/platinum cards offer extended warranty insurance as an added feature over regular cards.

      I know it covers all Australian purchases but I always see people on here saying that Kogan products are from overseas so not sure if the card company would try use that as a loop hole ;P

    the terms and conditions of my platinum card (citibank) states "manufacturer's Australian warranty." given the warranty is provided by Kogan rather than the manufacturer (nokia) i don't reckon extended warranty would apply.

    but in other places they refer to Australian warranty, so you should check with them anyway…who knows, maybe they will honour any Australian warranty (ie. store warranty).

  Kogan has also put the prices up of the phone to cover the cost of delivery.
  I was looking at the Sony Xperia SP 4G LTE model. it was before $309 with $22 delivery.
  Now it is $329 with free delivery. No saving at all Kogan !!!!
  I checked more phone, they have all gone up in price !!!
  HTC One Mini Silver 4G LTE 16GB is now $489 with free delivery but before it was $449 with $22 delivery

  Great deals, but interesting to note the price difference between the two. I wonder how much the average user will see the benefits of the improved camera. Although the looseless zoom at least is crazy
