Just wondering if this can be used for cars?

  • +1

Well it works for movies. Just listed die hard quadrilogy blu ray and didnt get charged at all. Dont see why cars would be an exception. Besides that, while i was creating my listing there was a prompt abouit this promo and there was only a note advising that this promo is for basic adds only, but no limitations as to what can be listed.

    This is from their site:

"This offer applies to Auction ads or Buy Now ads only.
Classified ads are not covered by this promotional offer i.e. Cars, Caravans, Mobile Homes, Trailers, Go karts, Motor Homes, Trucks, Pets and Marine. You can still place ads for these items in the usual way."

    Also:

"Why do I have to enter my credit card details for a Free Ad?
It sounds strange, but when you use the Sell For FREE promotional code
we still need your credit card details to verify who you are."

OOppss didnt realise the first part of it, but i did notice the second part about CC. What is the big deal about that anyway? They, just like many sites, will always ask you for CC details even if it a promotional offer. As i said, i have put that movie set up for auction and in the end after i entered CC details, in huge numbers, there was a note that the cost for placing my item up for an auction will cost me $0.00. I've also checked my CC account about an hour after i listed my item and nothing has been taken off it.

  • will l be charged if my auction ended after 30th??

  • I've heard the trading post has a very small amount of buyers. Is this true?

  • is the success fees waived as well?

    • "What is this promotion about?
This is an offer to sell for FREE if you want to place a Basic Auction or Buy Now ad with us. We’ve waived the listing and success fees for a short time, so take advantage!"

That's what it says! Woo Hoo!
