    What car are you cleaning with that combo? Would the detergent be too harsh for new cars with clear coat?

        I find the best way to use CT-18 is to dilute it like any other car wash and spray it on using a garden sprayer or trigger squeze bottle, then believe it or not let it dry completely before hosing off

  Magnatech will be fine for a honda or toyota, the factory service will be using a custom weighted blend of this very stuff.

  Unless you have a Supra :P (Or any turbo car really)
  Then maybe i'd recommend sticking with Edge ;)

  Does CT18 strip any wax or protectant off the car?
  If it does, you might be doing more harm than good if you don't replace the protection

    I was waiting for about 2 mins before it opened (its about 500 meters from where I live) and I was surprised I was the only person there.

    I got 3 bottles of superwash and that's all that was on the shelf, I'm not sure if they have more out the back.

    I'm just happy it was worth waking up early for.

      Of course no lines. It is made by Castrol, not Apple :P it is cheap but it's not a significant expenditure to begin with so most people don't wait for sales on these things.

  I went into the Repco store yesterday in Western Australia and the Magnatec oil was selling at its normal price.
  I could not find this deal on their catalogue so i ended up leaving the store disappointed.

    Did you get the scanned price? The carwash was still shown as full price but scanned at discounted price.. You should have a checked with staff before leaving.
