  I'm itching to upgrade my sammy 46" to something larger for that cinematic sensation. Tossing whether this is a good deal for a 60". I felt in love with Sammy 70" series 8 which was on demo at HN a few months ago but this is a lot cheaper.

    The good thing about this one is that you aren't paying for the 3D (compared to similar LG, Sony and Samsung Tv's which all had it). To me 3D is just a waste of time and money, but up to you.

    Sharp 70" should be cheapest in the size and is a great TV.

      actually, Sharp 70" is the one I am eyeing on but this LG is 200Hz so it should have better PQ.

        Quick reviews I've come across indicate it might look pretty bad, laggy etc…. hence the extremely low price. I am also looking towards the Sharp TV's

        It's not actually 200Hz - it's "TruMotion" 200Hz. My LG 55LA6620 is even TruMotion 400Hz.

  I am eyeing on the new 200hz 70" sharp too. But not impressed with the PQ compared to my plasma. Typical led lcd display. Poor black level. Cant see details when picture is showing shadow. When will oled 70" be around $3k. :p
