    Nice price! Officeworks have these for $74.88, but most places are higher, JB $94, Harvery Norman $97, DSE $99. I already have the Jawbone Jambox from a previous deal or I'd snatch one up.

    It's a great price
    I was after a UE Boom Speaker that's around $199
    water resistant
    15 hour battery
    louder
    - lacks bass

    but this little guy has more balanced sound

    and yes i grabbed one thanks :)

    Bought one a year ago, paid about $90.
    I thought it was great value then, at $55 it's a steal.
    Great for relaxing in the backyard, or out and about, small enough to take anywhere.
    Sound quality is very good for the size of the speaker.
    You will be happy with this

    Just want to add that a new version of this one, the Mini Boom, has been released, which according to some reviews is louder at high volume and has better Bluetooth range. The old version is still a very good value at this price though.

    Even though the price suggests its the old model, the specs within the listing suggest this is the new model: "Mobile range of play is up to 50 ft."

    Looking up the differences, the old one was up to 33 ft only.

    might this be the standard price when the UE mini boom makes this obsolete? I suddenly realized i need this in my life lol and wonder should i just hold off a little or just get this model from office works for around $75.

    would the UE mini boom be worth it? it isn't out yet but i see i can get it off amazon for around $US111 delivered.
