        That router proved very useful for me. I was able to connect a usb tv tuner to it and now have wireless FTA tv anywhere in my house :D

          Mine packed up and they replaced mine with a DIR-868L. Received it within 48 hours via express post. Excellent service from D-Link.

          Just plugged in a generic "WandTV Tuner" into the router and used "Shareport Plus" to connect the device onto whatever computer you're using. Pretty easy stuff! Basically acts like a wifi usb port. make sure you install the drivers and everything too.

          Emphasis on using shareport PLUS as i found shareport doesnt detect the tv tuner.

          Hmm ok, so I need a tuner that supports WMC. Have you tried using a brand name DVB-T dongle to see if it works? In theory it should work…

          No but it seems to be selective with usb devices. My 3g modem isn't detected when plugged in.

    Used to own a d link "goat" modem router that last for 6 years turn on everyday. Until the day when it disposed still going strong. Quality brand.

    I don't have a network port close to my TV. Can this be plugged into to the TV and access wireless Internet from TV ?
    There is a WiFi USB adapter from Samsung which costs around $60. If this can do the same job it'll be cheaper.

    I have a different model D-Link USB adapter and these are excellent, work really well.

    Anyone price matched Officeworks? There is no MSY in my area (Wolongong) so I doubt they will match.

      They should do online price plus shipping costs, worth a shot if Shipping from MSY is reasonable enough.
