    • Figured it out.I visited only1visa instead of only1giftcard:)

  • $50's were sold out at my local, but I got a $100 instead. The person at the self checkout also took the voucher unfortunately.

Also, I accidentally spent the money on the card before the 24hours were up. Anyone know what happens to the card and money? I'm concerned the funds might get frozen or something.

    • I suggest going back to the supermarket to see if you can get the voucher back or a replacement voucher given. Otherwise, what is the point of paying $105.95 for $100 of value. I assume by voucher, you mean the $10 docket deal. Or were you talking about using one of the $10 vouchers you already had to pay for another Visa card? I guess you can't complain if this happens. I'm planning to use self serve at Coles on Tuesday and using one of my $10 vouchers and I'm wondering whether I'll end up with an extra use of the voucher. I think it was a bad move using a generic barcode.

If you used the Visa card before the 24 hours was up and the transaction went through, then I can't see that there will be a problem.

      • Sorry about the confusion, I meant that on my next shop after I had purchased the gift card, the person at the self checkout took the voucher of the $10 when I redeemed it.

    • you can only buy things with the card if it has been activated. you went through checkout? it is a working card

    • Nothing happens, dude.

      Chill out.

  • I used my $10 docket deal/voucher/coupon at the self serve today. It wouldn't work properly, crashed the first machine and wouldn't work on the second machine, no matter what the self service statff member did. She eventually got the service desk to process the transaction and of course the service desk staff member kept the voucher, so I don't get to use it again.

I'll be using my second voucher on Friday but I might have a full trolley load then so I will have to give up the second voucehr.

    • dunno, i scanned the voucher last. then it spits up a coupon verification message when you go to pay. the times i tried they just pressed some buttons and walked away. i suppose it depends a lot on who you get.

  • Anybody tried to use photocopies?
I tried one today at self serve but the staff memer that autorized and picked up the voucher was a bit suspicious and wrote the time on the back of it. It worked though. I wonder if they will check it??

  • I used my second $10 voucher today at Coles. I tried a different self service machine but it still wouldn't scan it properly. The self service attendent took the coupon and was able to get it scanned and authorised but didn't give the coupon back to me. The coupon showed as a negative one cent on the product listing. As a result the transaction total ened up going from $10.11 to $0.10 after the coupon had taken effect. I scanned my flybuys card during the transaction. The transaction had a product which had 200 bonus points attached to it. There was no stipulation on the flybuys offer regarding how much I had to pay for the product in order to get the bonus points.
