Just a heads up to ACT residents that AAMI and GIO are still offering rebates on their CTPI car insurance for eligible customers (pay before 31/12/2013). Compared to the (cheaper) flat NRMA rate it's a $25-35 saving or thereabouts. GIO, who I went with in Oct, also offer "Additional at-fault driver cover at no extra cost" which may be of interest to some. If your rego doesn't expire until the new year I'd keeep checking their websites because they may extend the offer again.
