Bad idea of they are still using lead based paste (which I have heard is the best paste to use for longevity), bad teeth will be the least of your problems

        • 4 down votes without a comment? Wtf?

        • Fear not, it takes just one bad sheep to lead the flock astray.

  • +2

Its something that I'ld use just for testing CPU's etc, instead of expensive AS5
Not for permanent use on CPU heatsinks

    • Personally I think paying extra for heat paste does nothing except let you know it's safe to use. I have had a small satchel of paste that came with a cooler master fan 15 years ago and I still use the same satchel (2 days ago) and have never had a problem or had a computer back, and I must have used it on at least 25 gpu and cpu, possibly quite a bit more. If you are applying it right you need very very little.

IMO the issues people have with heat transfer are almost solely problem of the scrappy square stickers manufacturers use, a lot of these dry out over time and 3 years is probably when you start needing to apply some new paste.

      This stuff however, who knows?

    Cheap poison

  • +1

    thanks, grabbed one.

  • +1

limit 1 per customer. not that you would need more of this poison ;-)

  • How is this viable (serious)?

  • +1

something else to throw into the computer spares box never to be seen/used again.

$0.01 you cant say no can you?

  • +1

I put in the coupon code and paid via paypal but for some reason it still charged me $1.07.

Can you please refund order 131112EQ5HPM rep?

    • +1

Hi, I check your order and you also mail our customer service to cancel your order, right?

So do you want to cancel the order or refund the coupon to you?

  • where do u place the coupon on paypal?

    • ..

    • after login (paypal) confirming account> it takes you back to the site and asks to confirm the order,… on this confim page there is the coupon area

    • +2

i always use 'secure checkout', then you can enter the coupon before you go onto payment by paypal.

    • use the secure checkout option… apply the coupon in there… you can use paypal in there.

  • Anyone know if banks normally charge for debit transactions to paypal? Normally I have some $$ on my PP balance but don't wanna get stung for a 0.01 paste?

    • +1

it's considered a transaction like anyother you do from your bank..
unless you have a transaction limit, and you have reached it, there is no charge.

  • +8

Donno if I can trust this 1c product on a $300+ CPU

    • +5

      Just use some peanut butter

    • +5

Yeah. Even though the specific paste you use makes little difference to temps, cheap pastes can easily dry out and/or be difficult to clean off when reseating the CPU. I'd rather spend the $5-10 for AS5.

      • +2

I have a tube of AS5 that I've been using for years. Worth the extra couple of bucks.

      • Yea, the cheap stuff like this does dry out, but a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol 250ml from Jaycar $8.95 works wonders getting it off ..

        • Why spend $9 on isopropyl alcohol when you could just spend $7 on decent paste? As per johnno's comment, a single tube will last several applications.

  • nice! thanks!

  • +1

What is this? What ever it is 1c can't go wrong, ordered!

    • +2

why order something if u dont know what it is and u will never use it? You're just taking it from the people who could actually use it

      • Because the tragedy of the commons

  • For Paypal:

    1. Use the Checkout with Paypal option.
    2. Login to Paypal and then click "continue".
    3. You'll be redirected to Tmart to confirm the order - now apply the coupon.
    4. Once you see it's changed to $0.01, confirm the order.

Can I pay cash on delivery? I'll take 2.

    • +6

Ahhh Scrooge McDuck, swimming in money but still the ultimate cheapskate!!

  • +1

Also make sure you disable shipping insurance it's like $1. You need to when checking out.

  • +2

Cheers REP, perfect for the nose at the Cricket!

  • Can this also double as a Christmas ornament to go with my last 1c purchase?

  • I've got so many of these things spare.
The ones they give you with an average CPU heatsink can last 5-10 CPUs.

    • You can easily get away with using half as much I reckon…

  • +7

I have no idea what I'm going to do with this.. but it's ONE CENT!

    • but it's ONE CENT!

      U.S. cent…

      • exchange fee of $25 lol!

  • Bought not for my computer but maybe for my mobius camera that i use as dash cam. Gets a bit hot in the car so i might add a better heat sink to it.

    • Better?

      • It has a heat sink that comes to the top of the case. Some people have pulled that one out and cut a bigger hole in the top and put a bigger heat sink in them

  • To bad 1c only come in pixels now days, now where's my 1c I had 30years ago, used to be all over the streets, now it's only 5cents!

  • Sold out

  • I wanted it… but ceebs making an account

  • You didn't need to make an account and can continue without.

    Sold out anyway.

  • sold out.. please mark it as expired :)

  • Where is the store? And how long does it take to ship to Aus?

    • +1

Hi, we are a Chinese Online Store.
Usually, we ship our product to Australia from our HK stock and the delivery takes about one month.

  • Oh no. It' sold out…?!

    • you save $3 in this deal, I wouldn't be disappointed lol

  • Well good luck you who managed to order. Tmart don't always deliver their products. I wouldn't use them again. Customer service very poor.

    • I'd imagine it's hard to afford good customer service with 1c products…

      • i have had nothing but awesome service from them (and most other chinese companies that deal in OzB)

if you didnt get something im guessing you never bothered to follow up with emailing them and talking to there online chat peopole? just came on OzB to complain your to lazy to actually do anything more than whine about it here?

    • +2

    • +1

      • +1
