Damn. I wish I had a store card. Weber Baby Q $289 down to $249 for Cardmembers (also 10% off during Christmas event, but not sure if that stacks), then less $35. So $214 if the Cardmember deals don't stack, or $189.10 if they do.

Edit: When I add it to the cart and say I'm a Cardmember, it has text saying it's down from $289 to $249, but the subtotal shows $279 (without any coupons yet added). Coupons bring it to $244. There is no text mentioning the 10% off, although that shows on the item's page.

    • Sign up for next time, David Jones is always on sale :)

      • I'll go instore and apply for one today. Then I should be able to get a $214 Weber Baby Q tonight, after I call them and ask for the discounted price to be corrected.

        • Filled out the form. Started driving to the store. Changed my mind halfway there.

$214 is a great price for a Weber Baby Q, and as much as people rave about how good they are, I can't justify the extra cost over a $94 2 burner hooded bbq with stand from Kmart. $120 more (130%), plus the cost of a stand of some sort, and at the end of the day, I'll cook a few snags and steaks maybe 4 times a year.

  • Like the stacking:)

  • All 3 codes worked for me thanks!

So the Nespresso U is $249

    Less $30 if register AMEX credit….thats $219

    Less WOW20 …thats $199

    Less WELCOME …thats $189

    Less TREATME5 ….thats $184

    Less members 20%…thats $147.20

    Less Nespresso cashback $60…..thats $87.20

    and thats with the aeroccino!

I would've thought the 20% would be taken off first, since that applies to the item, while the vouchers apply to a whole order.
So $249 - 20% = 199.2. Not eligible for the $20 off $200, but say you buy something else that costs $0.80.
Less $35 from vouchers. = $164.20 charged to your Amex.
$30 back from Amex, and $60 back from Nespresso.
      = $74.20

      • How do you sign up for this members thing?

        • You need to have a DJs credit card - either the old DJs storecard or the DJs amex card. $99 annual fee & high interest rates on the amex make it not very appealing. Not sure if they still offer the old storecard to new signups anymore though.

        • Sign up instore. The DJs store card (i.e. not credit card) has no annual fee but the limit is $1,000 I think. I have this one and only use it during member only sales. If you sign up in store they can do a quick approve where u stick around for 15 mins while they process your application there and then and give you a temporary card you can use for member savings straight away. Or if you can't be bothered waiting they mail your form off and a card gets delivered to you about 2 weeks later.

        • They still offer the storecard. :) Except you can earn points on it now just like the AMEX (but at a worse earning rate). Plus the interest rate is 24.74% on the storecard compared to 20.74% on the AMEX.

Also keep in mind that all those codes can only be used one time per online account.

        • Do we need to pay with the DJ store card to get the 20% off? Anyone know how does the 20% member discount apply for online order?

        • I have made a couple of purchases online before and used the same codes each time.. maybe because I didn't register an account and checked out as a guest?

        • I would do that but then I don't get my staff discount on top as it's linked to my account. xD

Not sure i understand this correctly.

On the checkout page, if i select to pay by Storecard, the price is reduced by 20% but doesn't that mean you cant get the $30 AMEX credit offer?

I haven't gone through the Checkout process, just at the first checkout page.

        • that's what I'm thinking too and hence my question above =)

        • Yes if it's a members only discount/sale then you will need to use the storecard to pay to get the discount. It will be good when DJs has a normal sale available to the public, then you can use your normal Amex to pay, stack these codes and then do click and collect to avoid shipping fees. :)

    • I just did the Nespresso Latissima which they have for $449

The 20% Store discount reduced it to $359.20

The WOW20, WELCOME & TREATME5 took it down to $324.20

Pity I don't have an AMEX to whack off another $30 before I claim the $100 cashback. So $224.20 (or $194.20 if ya have AMEX) is pretty good for this model!

Mind you with the online receipt it is a pity it has the big words all the promotions that's linked to it!

Can anyone confirm when Nespresso says not valid with any other promotion are they only talking about their own promotions and they don't care what the stores do?

You can also buy a DJ gift card from Woollies and save 20c OFF per litre of fuel

    • I don't think you can pay online with their giftcards? I wanted to use some I had earlier tonight on their website & the option wasn't there? The only payment option I could find was credit card.

      • +1

this is correct. gift cards for use only within stores.

        paypal an option as well

    • -1

and you can get woolies gift card for 5% off and then use that to buy the dj gift cards…

  • i cant find any good deals.

Stack this with the AMEX deal and 10% off apple computers starting tomorrow…10% + $65 off the basic mac mini (RRP $750) brings it to $610. Not a bad price.

  • Are you guys sure all 3 codes are stackable?
After entering WOW20 & WELCOME, the price in checkout increased by $5 when TREATME5 was entered.
It appears that it has overwritten the WELCOME $10 code

    • +3

After using each code the new total needs to be above the amount required to use the next code.
e.g if you have a purchase of $50, you can only use either WELCOME or TREATME5. But if the purchase price is $55, you can use TREATME5 first —> $50, then use WELCOME —> $40. If you try and use WELCOME first, the new total will be $45 which is below the $50 required to use TREATME5 and TREATME5 will overwrite WECLOME.

  • Didn't quite spend $200… item I bought was $62.95 (sale price), and used WELCOME and TREATME5 to get another $15 off, net $47.95. Got it click and collect, so online price is $15 cheaper than buying it at the store. :) Hopefully the top I bought fits nicely. :) Thanks OP.

  • is it too late to get their member storecard ? I really want to buy Dyson. But the price is not good without their member storecard.

  • David Jones is being a bit stingy.

$20 off a $200 purchase is not worth it, especially when David Jones prices are through the roof compared to other stores.

    • +1

      not really at all.

  • Bugger. missed the 20% off. What a great deal. Im after a DC59 too =(

    • what the 20% off?

      • 20% discount on small appliances during cardmembers xmas shopping event yesterday. One day only offer so no longer available unfortunately.

  • I ended up purchasing:

Delonghi Nespresso "U" Pure Black Solo - Excluding Aeroccino
    Braun Vitality Floss Action Toothbrush
    3 x Lavazza Lavazza Appassionatamente 7.5g X16

Total after $35 coupons, $60 nespresso cash back & amex $30 should be $94.56
