The Bulk Protein website is down and I haven't receive my order

Since the bulk protein is the new company and through the comment, i decided to give it a go with 5kg of WPI.
Well i ordered 2 weeks ago, i ve recently emailed them as well but never receive their reply. Today, i decided to call them and visit their website but It's already down. I have no idea with my order. how do i request refund. I ordered with my credit card. Seem like it is not good company.

    the issuer of your credit card. you didn't receive the product, web site disappear, can't contact retailer

      sorry, i meant you need to contact the issuer of your credit card to initiate a chargeback

      • So i need to contact my bank to ask for the chargeback. Can i do it?

        • yes, you need to phone your bank about disputing the transaction. you might need to pay a fee until the dispute is resolved in your favour. explain your situation to the bank. cite that you haven't received any product and you can't contact the retailer

        • Yes just ring the bank and explain the situation, tell them you've attempted to contact the seller but they've cut off all forms of communications and you wish to process a chargeback on that specific charge.

          If you used PayPal, do it via PayPal and not the bank (or risk having your PayPal account explode).

        No, he just thought he'd try his luck with a frivolous PayPal claim.

  • Not to be dic, but I'm wary of new/small companies trying to do business here.

    This is where companies looking to get rid of things should come, not one looking to generate business, loss leading doesn't work too well here. We all know why we're here.

      • The sites back up we are just working on improving everything so we can streamline our dispatch area. I agree OzBargain shouldn't be messed with unless you take your predictions X 1000 and then still think you can handle it. For anyone in the future I highly recommend putting limits in place before you start and not be stuck in a position where you can't go back. We didn't think we needed to but as you can see our delays have become ridiculous.

          I sympathise with your scenario but you still could have placed a limit a day or two after the deal was placed. You could have stated "we did not expect more than 1000 samples to be ordered and unfortunately have to place a limit for the first 1000".

          One other thing I don't understand is why you would make that deal so soon after your previous 20% off sale. If that sale was so big, why did you make the free sample deal shortly after?

          I still think you have good intentions but you really should have thought through the process more clearly to have avoided this mess. Hope it works out for you.

          I agree, i thing you would have got less heat just deleting all the sample orders after the first 500 (for example) and apologising.

        • The Free Samples was a bit of an issue, the reason we launched it was the fact we were getting so many email requests for it and it was overloading our ability to handle other emails. We decided to shift from the manual enquiries to letting people just order automatically and therefor we didn't have the manual step of creating orders and sending responses. However it blew out of proportion and we should have stuck to putting a small cost to limit uptake, we swayed because of the feedback from OzBargain and offered them for free. It is the best decision in the end but we weren't ready to be able to handle how popular it became.

          So because of the sample and you guys don't even have time for replying customer's requests?? I have sent you guys about my order and requested the refund until now, I've got nothing. I hope you guys sort it out soon since i have been running out my protein for ages. Due to the budget so I ordered from you guys so don't ask why u don't order with another company to wait for your 1month shipping products.

          We are not processing any samples at the moment, at this point in time we are fixing up any orders that have not been received and then we are going to have down time for a month or two to work on a few things such as

          New Packaging - We have had a few orders break during transport so we are looking at the best option. We are either going to go with boxes and/or move our products to the standard protein tubs you find in stores.

          New Flavours - We are going to be improving the flavour range and slowly bring them back 1 by 1 when we are certain they are one of the best on the market.

          New Pricing - We mentioned in an email that due to the demand we have been able to negotiate new rates so we are passing this on.

          Improving Our Systems - We are now at the stage where our system needs to be as streamlined as possible so we are implementing as much automation as we can to increase our ability to get orders out fast

          Stocking Up - We now have a good indication of what stock is required for large promotions and will be increasing all our stock on hand to accomodate this

          Australia Post - We are in the progress of implementing Australia Post and their eParcel system so we will be able to offer the choice between Fastway Couriers and Australia Post.

        • I'm not sure all this is going to help especially since you've broken the trust of so many people, and formed such a bad relationship with a lot of people here…

  • I appreciate that you are under the pump - but a simple email response would be good. Particularly after you have emailed me that it was shipped back on Oct 18 (one month ago!) and I still have had zero correspondence from Bulkprotein.

  • Well we are 1 week further down the track and still not one response!! That was a waste of $50. Hopefully I can get a refund through my Paypal claim. Very dodgy!!

    Got a refund through my credit card company. Sent 5 emails to these guys without one reply. Piss poor.

    I just submitted a paypal claim. You only have 45 days from the day of purchase to process with paypal so it may be that the owner is milking this fact for as long as possible. I have 2 days to go.

    • Disappointing. They were way too ambitious and there was indeed extremely poor management. People should just stick to the trusted supplement companies.
