I saw it for about this price at Dick Smith on the weekend. Can't remember the exact price and their site still lists it at $98. Seems to be discontinued or something.
Not always but it has been for a few months now, at least, because I bought a second one from them at this price.

I'd go with the G9x logitech mouse, much simpler design and is super responsive. If you are into game that require alot of shortcuts then I'd go for this one!
This thing can't do Windows' horizontal scrolling using wheel tilt. Sigh.
Just assign left and right arrows to the wheel tilts. Works the same.

No, not even close - Tilt shifts the window, left/right moves the cursor.
I've used tilt wheels on many other mice, this workaround works the same as them; anytime you've got a window with a horizontal scroll bar, it will scroll the window across.
