The only thing now is an ozbargain house. i wonder if any builder wants to set up a deal

        I'm sure OW will price-match..

      • check out statewideconstruction kithomes… $159,000 fully completed :P

  • Its 277 . Still damn good price though

  • OP deal!!!

  • I want a gas cooktop…

  • +2

Good price for a ILVE cooktop, just remember is not induction, so it's not "cool to touch" straight after use. I've never known ILve to make anything other than thier 20+ styles of upright cookers…

Overall it's a great price for a quality brand.

    Got one. Thanks!

Now to find an electric oven. Anyone, anyone?

    • +1 to this request. An oven, a 1000w+ microwave and a kitchen sink would be most appreciated :)

I have a ceramic glass electric stove like this one at home. They look beautiful initially but the glass is a nightmare to maintain. If you have any food/liquid particles at all on the stove, they will burn and leave marks on the glass.

Would much rather have a gas cooktop, but this is a very cheap deal.

    • any pointers on how to keep it clean? or its just inevitable? :)

      • Cover all the non hotplate area in foil…

There are specialty cleaning products, but mostly wipe things up straight away before they bake on

        • Thanks!
well i bought one :) we needed a cooktop so worked out well!!! great deal..

  • +2

you get a scraper (with replaceable blades) to keep the glass top clean of spilled liquids which cake. Also you need a bottle of special liquid to clean the top - just put a few drops and then wipe with soft cloth. the glass top stays clean

  • Bought one last night itself. Nice reviews about the brand on internet and here + need for a replacement in my apartment, this came at a perfect time. Thanks OP

  • I'm curious, how is iLve pronounced?

  • +1

Save a little more and get an induction cooktop… But yes, you'll probably have to save further to get some compatible pots and pans. And a bit more for a 30 amp circuit (if you don't have one already)

On second thoughts this is a pretty good deal ;)

  • Anyone know if these can be swapped over easily or does it require an electrician?

    • +1

probably electrician, ours is hard wired in.

I picked mine up today. Nice price. Unit looks nice. No place of manufacture anywhere on unit or box. No label for iLuv. Manual states Eurolinx, no mention of iLuv. Annoying beep when you press up and down on settings. I dont think you can turn it off. Also, a clicking noise can be heard, prob the relay, when it gets to the right temp and turns on and off. No warranty card or details of who to call for repair.

    • From the image it seems the controls are close to the lower right element.

If that element is on does it make the controls hot to touch?

A search on the model HC60TC turns up this image.. slightly different.. hmm.
      http://www.harveynormancommercial.com.au/60cm-touch-control-…

Already ordered one but not too keen on the beeps.

      • looks nothing like the harvey norman one. Its more like the one on appliances online. Not too close to the element and the buttons are not quite the same. functions well.

        • thanks mate.

so it does say HC60TC somewhere on the box or the unit though?
someone else will collect it for me so just want to make sure they can ID it properly.

        • box should have Eurolinx sticker with HC60TC on it and another sticker for ILVE. Looks like it was just stuck on.

    • That seems really dodgy to me. So they are all just rebadged?

      • looks like the same company after googling. Did you intall it yourself? difficult?

    • I got mine delivered today. Looks similar with the appliances online photo but the touch buttons are totally different. Also I could not find the same product from iLve website. Eurolinx I believe is the Australian distributor of iLve.

      • got mine. looks great, slighty different button configuration then the picture.
mine has "euro something" in the top left corner.

        • Are the buttons flush or raised?

        • Totally flush and they don't indent when pushed. It's legit touch control.

  • Just bought one with free delivery. Thanks OP

  • I have a 74cm cut out, if I wanted to put this in does anyone know what options I have regarding panels on the sides? I've heard some people make them out of stainless steel.

  • now showing as $477 :(
