For a limited time, you can join a special Creative Cloud plan. It includes access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5, 20GB of cloud storage for file sharing and collaboration, and a Behance ProSite.

Previously, the AU$10 per month bundle offer was open only to those who had a copy of Creative Suite 3 (CS3) or later.

      The T&Cs say, 'After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering.'

      I think it's a bit ambiguous. Is 'current price' the price as at today or the current price at the expiration of the 12 months? The sceptic in me thinks the latter. In other words, they'll hike the price to whatever the normal price is and you'll get slugged that until you cancel.

      I'm not a fan of the 'subscribe for life until you remember to cancel' deals. Companies like Quickflix love it. You get inticed into the 'one month free', forget to cancel before the end then get slugged each month until you remember to check your 10-page credit card bill and realise you're lighter in the pocket.

        Thanks. That is a bit grey but at least its not all doom and gloom. I'll probably register and just make sure I keep an eye on it in 12 months. I've been tempted to update my PS Elements and Lightroom 5 to the latest which ultimately will cost more than a $120 subscription.

        If the price gets hiked after a year, I'll use my existing 'full version' keys to buy update copies of the standalone products again.

          I just called their number (1800 426 570) to ask and the guy said if I want to continue paying the $9.99 after the first 12 months, he can sign me up on the phone with that deal. It sounded like he just signed me up to the 'previous CS3 owner' deal, which was fine with me. So I signed up on the phone. He read me the T@Cs at the end and restated that I would continue being charged $9.99 a month until I cancelled. Happy days! I think it's a cracker deal for really great software. The price for Lightroom alone would be worth it. I absolutely love it.

          EDIT: I got an email confirmation from them and sure enough, the description contains 'for CS3+ customers'. So I'd suggest to those interested, ring them up and tell them you'd like the same deal.

          Can't edit my previous post. I gave them a call and the first sales person wouldn't let me do it. Called back maybe 20 minutes later and this time the salesman offered the CS3 pack as well with a lifetime set price which I took up.

          I just signed up, the salesman told me that I will be charged 9.99 after the first year but he couldn't set a fix price for me because 'there is no such thing'…

          My product is Photoshop Photography Program (For CS3+ customers) but I saw below term in the welcome email.

          Renewal
          The price is valid for a full 12 months. After that, we'll renew your contract automatically unless you cancel. The price is subject to change, but we will always notify you beforehand.

          Could you please check your email and let me know whether you have the same term? Thank you!

          I got the same narration. I think that's as good as it will get. If you go to the T&Cs for the CS3+ customer deal, it said that the $9.99 was fixed for as long as you kept paying. I can't even find that deal anymore. It might have expired. I don't think it's a reason to not go ahead and do it. Still a great deal, regardless of how long it runs.

          This is essentially what was described to me and matches the order I received. As per the post, if it is this plan then it is a perpetual one.

          The first person I spoke to said there was no way for them to put me on that plan without previously owning CS3+, where the second call the guy was keen to do it and reiterated it was a lifetime price as long as I don't cancel. I guess we'll see in 12 months, but with things like this it never surprises me that different sales people are saying different things.

          The sales man ensured me that the price would stay the same unless I cancel my plan but the following email has the term quoted above.

          Guess we will see in 12 months time. Finger crossed.

    Just make sure you use a fake name, throwaway email and one-time prepaid credit card, unless of course you want to end up on the next list of 150 million accounts published on the net

    I misread some of this… instead of "and a Behance ProSite" whatever that is I thought it said "and a Beyonce ProSite".

    If you do this by the upgrade method, the $10 per year is supposedly permanent.

    as of 9/12/13 is AUS$9.99 and still working, I asked and:
    you: "but you need to join by December 8, 2013." that correct?
    Adobe: This offer is extended now, you can click the link above and proceed with the order.
    The T&C said end of December. But there is a chance this will be the new price according to rep, they just don't promise it.

    Also;
    you: ok, just to be clear, after 1 year if I don't want to pay 19.99/m I can keep using whatever current version I have installed and it remains full functional but no updates?
    Adobe: I have a feeling that the price will remain the same, however, we don't have information on future price.
    Adobe: If you wish you can renew the plan after one year or you can cancel the plan.
    Adobe: You can still use your previous version software, once you cancel your photography subscription.
