Pro Quip Metal Fuel Can 20L - $35.00 - Ray's Outdoors (Plus $5.49 Delivery)

90

$35 price - seems very cheap, also better than a crappy plastic one, which will leak and stink up the car!
Was $65 - But timely reminder when the plastic ones pop up.

(don't know how to link sorry)

Obviously not as cheap as the $20 one from a while back, but this one is actually suitable for petrol (that is what it says anyway) and Pro-Quip is a brand name.

Note: what makes it suitable for petrol, a special valve or child lock?

    Now that's a jerry can!

    • that's gold, jerry, gold!

  • Now this will be better than that deal for that plastic Jerry can which was posted yesterday. Looks like it would be proper quality without leaks.

  • Aldi have these every so often for $30. So I wouldn't go paying post just to get one of these. ( unless ur remote, or need one now of course)

    • Seen them, 20L red can. Brand is XS or something like that. Also has an additional locking pin for safety. Not sure if this one has.

Hopefully this post doesn't fuel any cheap puns. Some of them can actually be quite inflammatory. Feel free to top up with any of your own. Hurry up, or oil be forced to come up with more of mine!

  • Nice find! Thanks seb, and diddy50 for bringing it to the fore.

  • Anyone know how these stack up against the Dune brand at Anaconda? Price is similar, wondering about any quality differences. ($36.50 after 25% off storewide discount.)

  • Is there a spout for it? Generally for any automotive use you are going to need a spout. Those can be almost as expensive as the jerry can ($20+ from sca)

    • Yep BCF $10

  • Guys I think the desktop page is 404 but mobile site still works.
