PS4 Launch Games $68 ($63 with Voucher), PS4 Controllers $78 @ Big W

930

Credits go to Dingotech on WP for this deal, I am just reposting it here.

In the new Big W catalogue coming out this week they have:

PS4 controllers for $78
Launch games for $68.

If you use the 10off120 big w deal, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/124127 you could use click and collect when the games appear for the discounted prices later this week and apply the voucher. Pick the games up on Friday when the console launches and the total price will work out at $63 per games. Almost US prices.

I think the price for this Mk1 is very reasonable, and isn't that what a awrranty is for? I'm happy to (once again) take the risk of buying a Mk1 if it means I don't have to wait 12 months to play it.

  • Goof luck with this. My friend rang his local Big W, and they said they were getting 4 copies of Killzone in for launch. It's almost misleading advertising really.

    • I don't blame them though. When I worked in retail our video game stock barely moved.

Just had a talk with a manager at Dick Smith, who advised they will be offering the $50 soft bundle, as well as several other soft bundles including PSN plus 1 Year for $70, the console 2 Games and a turtle beach headset etc. People who pre-ordered should be getting calls soon.

    • were you able to get prices for the console, 2 games and a turtle beach headset?

      • No he only gave me rough details, I believe they have the 50 dollar one, another that is just under 200 and a further one that is just over 400, and then the PSN credit offer for 70, he said he would start calling people today with details.

I think this may be the highest tier bundle:

But release date appears to be 31st, so I am unsure.

The only one he confirmed for midnight launch was the $50 Killzone/Knack offer.

  • Just picked up acbf for 68 at ebgames Indooroopilly (qld). Just mentioned bigw price and they match without even checking :)

    • Nevermind

    • Any chance of uploading a copy of your receipt? Thanks!

Rang Target, not offering $39 Killzone to this weeks pre orders. $39 incentive is only for those that have to wait 3 months.
Rubbish really considering no pre order incentive or bundles were offered when we pre ordered.

  • This one's live now. Just ordered AC Black Flag and Need for Speed Rivals for $126

  • Ordered FIFA 14 and killzone added the 10off120 discount which took it down to $126, proceeded to pay and was charged $136

    • Contacted Big W about it and they were quick to apologise and give me a $10 refund. Although I also asked them why my items were listed as "on backorder" while still listed as "in stock" online and he said because my items were on pre-order. But they're not listed as pre-order online so..

  • Can anyone get the link for the Dualshock 4? They seem to have taken it down…

    • yep thats annoying - i wanted to get a DS4 and a game

      • Turns out it's to do with the embargo. The PS4 console and controllers are embargoed until 12:01am Friday. I presume Big W have pulled the Dualshock down until then so that people do not try and 'click and collect' it early.

  • Thanks - just ordered NFS and AC for $131 delivered (not worth a $5 saving for me to go to the store). Now I just have to wait for my PS4…
