Whats the freight cost to Sydney CBD?

    • Freight to postcode 2000 is $23.25

Throw in a free delivery and its a done deal :)

    • -1

Unfortunately no FREE delivery… but if in Melbourne can be picked up from our Mt Waverley Store.

    • if this was free delivery, i would get this so fast. Suppose ill get the samsung from msy instead.

    $279.00 @ Umart..

Free delivery would make this a possibility for me.

    • thanks

  • can get it cheaper over here in sydney, nsw at pluscorp looking at staticice
if delivery cost was cheaper for sydney this would be good

  • I just upgraded from a 17" philips LCD (not widescreen) to a 24" Samsung, It's probably gonna take a while to get used to the huge screen :(

  • Umart has it for about $20 less

  • Tell me, could this be used as a TV substitute? And if so, could i hook up some good speakers to it or is this a waste of my time?

    • You could probably hook a HD tv tuner/ set-top box to it.

'Probably' because set top boxes don't normally have DVI outputs, but if the STB supports HDMI out this makes things easier
If you have an HDMI to DVI adapter you can hook up your LCD screen to the STB, this should work as long as the LCD supports 1080i.

  • Are there games that operate at 1920x1080? I would think most would go with the "standard" 1920x1200.

Not 100% sure, but this would be ideal if you're not a gamer.
