Good deal, sadly I've got too much coffee equipment already.

    • +2

Also great for travelling :-) I can't go away without one!!

      • +1 Here!!

Matter of fact I'm bringing it and his Mt Everest beans with me on my holidays to Canada! =)

      • Tempting due to the great reputation of the AeroPress, but already have MyPressi for travelling.

  • A Christmas gift pack for freshly roasted coffee beans in November?

    • It's running for the next few weeks so still good for Christmas coffee. Also you can always drink the coffee yourself and give the Aeropress as a present ;-)

  • I bought one last time, can't recommend it highly enough! Also $5 cheaper than the deal I got….

    • Yep we're going pretty hard with the price this time.

  • Is it possible this will sell out before Xmas? Not sure to buy now, or wait so the beans will be fresher.

    • No it shouldn't sell out I have plenty of stock

      • Thanks. So do you have a date when this will end?

        • Expires 20/12/13

  • Can you do a deal on this combined with a Compak K3 Touch?

    • +1

Yes, shoot me an email and I'll quote you a price :-) [email protected]

      • Oops, PM'd instead of emailed. Emailing you now.

Great deal unfortunately I have an AP already. Makes great coffee using the inverted method. Even better if you can get one of the Able discs.

  • My 2c on the metal filter:

Bought one from here around 6 months ago for about $15.
After only using it a handful of times, the mesh came loose from the outside rim. 100% certain it occured from the twist-on action of the aero's filter holder rubbing against the poor tack solder joints.

No great loss, since the regular filters taste much better anyway :O

    • Sorry to hear that. Yes there used to be a design issue with the Kaffeologie S-Filters. They did say they had fixed the problem however we don't use these any more as we kept having to send out free replacements.

We now only sell the Able disc Fine which is a solid stainless steel disc and a fantastic alternative. we had already been selling them side by side however so far in the last 18 months I have never had a reported issue with the Able disc

    • I've got two Areopress, two Able disks and one S-Filter, S-Filter has been my favorite filter for the last year or so with no issues, wonder if you got an early model or faulty batch…..

  • Can I have some present owner feedback on ease of cleaning? Similar to a french press or stove top espresso? Easier/harder?

    • +2

Much easier. The whole coffee grounds disc just pop out the end and you rinse. Really easy cleaning.

    • +1

Way easier! Have a look at some youtube demos.

    • +1

Very easy. Enjoy your coffee, let it cool down. Unscrew the bottom grounds disc, keep pushing the plunger and all the grounds and filter will pop out. Pull apart and rinse under warm water. That's pretty much as it it rinses pretty easily.

      • +1

Let it cool first. Takes 15 seconds with no sink mess.

  • There's an option to add an electric burr grinder to the deal. Can anyone provide any feedback on the unit? I wouldn't be grinding a lot, 1 to 2 cups per day.

I was thinking of getting a Breville BCG800 Smart Grinder. A lot of users seem to be happy with the grind consistency and minimal mess it creates. This Manna Beans deal is very tempting though.

    • I've got the Breville and I think it's the best bang for bucks grinder around. I grind at least 50 grams a day primarily for Syphon or AP.

  • Not sure about the coffee, I've never tried it, but I'll + this for the aeropress alone as it's a brilliant coffee appliance, and the fact that you get a kilo of coffee with it; provided it's decent quality, it's a good deal.

  • How does the aeropress compare to a perculator in terms of taste ? (Never been a fan of the French press bodum type plunger). The reviews suggest this makes a better coffee than the plungers ?

  • Hello,
You sell hand grinders on your ebay site.
Is there a deal to go with a hario hand grinder and the able disk with the deal?
    Thanks

    • Please shoot me an email

      • Got the coffee already!
        Great coffee and service

  • Hi. Good work Rep - you post some good deals and follow up requests.

Any deal available on 2 x aeropress, 2 x able filter and 2 paper filters delivered?

    Thanks.

  • Hey rep, do you sell replacement rubbers for the AP? Mine is getting on and starting to degrade. Also any chance on a deal for a K3 Push?

    • Yes we do stock the spare parts. I believe the rubber seals are only a few bucks but I'll double check for you.

Also happy to send you a price on the K3 push. Please shoot me an email.

      • Sent ya an email :)

        • Hi, sorry but email doesn't seem to have come through. Please send again to [email protected] or [email protected]

Otherwise you can IM me. Cheers

        • Ah I wondered why I hadn't heard anything. I used the contact us form on your website, maybe it's dodgy?

        • Cheers mate, I'll get our tech guy to look into it
