      good on ya mate

  • good price, will get one.

  • If you can click and collect you can add the 20OFF250 coupon (till Dec 1).

    Bringing it down to $474

Not sure if this option is available for this item, but it is worth checking.

    • I cant find it in the normal online store? so not sure if you can click and collect. i'm probably searching wrong but.

    • This is eligible for Click and collect.

Put the 20OFF250 coupon in and save $20.00 bringing the total to $474.00 (Cheaper than OW).

  • wow, thats about the price you expect to pay for body only on special

Save $180 is a bit exaggerate. At Camera Warehouse, their price is only $530 as a standard.

    http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod7238.htm

    • checked, shops are located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Not overseas.

  • isn't 600D a old model ?

    • +1

      Yes, almost 3 years old.

      Review on March 2011. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos600d

    • Yes, but the 650D and 700D are barely different. They have touchscreen, if you're into that sort of thing. Performance is very similar, and if you're into video I'd recommend the 600D over the newer models as it's fully supported by magic lantern.

If you want to get into movie-making, this is the camera to buy in this price range.

Perfectly good APS-C stills camera too, especially when you pair it with some nice glass.

      • I don't think it is "fully supported" by magic lantern, some of the key audio features like AGC can't be turned off and user controlled audio gain can't be set(which is a real pain when using it as a video camera) so it will mean you will still need a separate device to record audio or defeat the AGC.

        • Fair enough, but I meant that it's officially supported under the latest stable release (2.3) of ML. I've got ML running on a 700D, but it's just an alpha build made by the community with far less functionality (no audio controls at all at the moment).

Even without the extra options the default 600/700D turns out pretty good video using the cinestyle profile and some post, though, for anyone who's looking to dabble.

      • They are some slight important different especially in the ISO department

600D - Added the swivel screen
650D - Swivel touch screen, and improve low light Max ISO increase + ISO boost, phase detection for AF
700D - Just an update rather than a new model. Similar to 650D, 650D actually being discontinue since 700D release. The body is exactly same with some new coating.
But the 700D come with a better/new silent kit lens that perform better when taking video.

650D->700D no improvement, but 600D->700D.. you will be missing out on some improvement in ISO department. Low light

    Same lens as well?
