I'm a little annoyed with myself I got this last week when it was $258.99USD with a $40 off coupon and I hit that up and thought it was a good deal. Now it's $229.99 with a $70 off coupon. Oh my I'm a silly boy. Nevertheless I decided to break even and share this deal with the world of ozbargain.

  I'm a little annoyed with myself I got this last week

  Amazon might be willing to refund the price difference as a goodwill gesture if you talk to their online chat support. They've refunded me previously for things, but YMMV. :)

        They couldn't refund a promotion value. So I got $30 instead of the $60 I could have gotten for the shaver.

        What I mean is there is a $70 coupon on the updated price and there was a $40 coupon on the old price. They couldn't grant me the extra $30 saving. Just the saving from $258 to $229. Which is quite alright still. Cannot win every battle.

        Thank you electronictomato, you have saved me some money and I would like to thank amazon for being really nice folks. I'm still a tad sad, but at least I have lots of faith in amazon :).

        I would assume they won't do it on old orders but since I ordered in the past week they were quite nice. I should also add I order a lot from amazon so perhaps that should be taken into consideration.

        Great to hear you got something back; Amazon's customer service is pretty excellent, particularly when they make goodwill gestures like this.

        The coupon probably complicated the accounting on the their end; if the price difference had been a normal price drop rather than partially in the form of the coupon then I suspect they'd have refunded you the full difference.

        But yeah, they probably won't give a price difference refund for old orders, only very recent ones. :)

  Missed out on the other Panasonic model for $112 the other day because the price increased. Glad it worked out for me because this model is better.

  Excuse my ignorance, but how does one charge this shaver? I found a review somewhere saying it doesn't come with a charging/cleaning dock. I need a new electric shaver and this looks like a great deal.
