  • Can u use this for private mailboxes like corporate use??
    Is it unhackable?

  • You can buy it local at http://www.mobileciti.com.au/blackberry-z10-black for 318

  • nobody's keen to get a z10… lol

    • If I had the money I'd have bought a Z10 not long after they came out.
Got an S3 currently and it's one of the worst phones I've owned.

  • No more buying from kogan after my last experience. ..

    • was your experience in relation to Z10 or something else? care to share?

  • Was this the BB phone that retailed at ~$1000 on launch? Or am I thinking of another one?

  • This looks like a good deal. Not related to the price, more to the phone the major issue is the apps available with BB phone. After I saw this post did a quick search and found this article, noting that soon Google Play will directly install to blackberry, would solve the only problem with what most people say is a great phone:

    • One reason why there are so few apps on BB10

      • Interesting, thanks, easy to see why. Did some more reading sounds like using android apps is a piece of cake. 4G and decent camera make it a good price. Wish someone who had one would let us know how well android apps work though, still my only concern

I purchased a z10 in the last Mobileciti sale for approx $300. I have to say I am pretty happy with the phone. Updated to latest beta OS and I am running whirlpool and ozbargain android apps with no issues. BB store is pretty sparse, but if you google blackberry and android you will see they are pushing the Android compatibility thing….and phone has been very reliable. IMOA for 300 bucks it is a pretty good phone. I have a htc 8x as well and feature wise BB10 os poops all over it :-)

        • I sideloaded Snapchat, PayPal and Instagram and all work fine, they run even quicker after os 10.2 update. The next os update you can just download apk files direct from android app stores on your device and run them so it'll be even easier to download them and they will run even better.

          Love my Z10.

  • I don't have a z10 but I bought a playbook from Oo.com.au when they had them for 75 bucks. I know it's a different OS, but as far as the quality of the unit I have very very little to complain about. It reminds me of the Nokias of old in finish and weight.

Apps are nonexistent apart from about 10-15 free apps I installed I don't expect to get any more. I am on the Latest playbook os and I can't seem to hack it to sideload android apps like people did on the previous version of the os, but that isn't a problem for the z10 since BlackBerry is now officially supporting them.

I have a HTC One and sometimes I think I may have been better off with my Lumia 920, I don't use heaps of apps, it was actually idotic MS issues that made me turn away from windows phone, which I hope blackberry wouldn't be suffering from
