I think so. DSE currently has Palsonic 80cm on special for $248 and it doesn't even have Full HD.

I have one of these. my only gripes are that it doesn't play as many media formats as a JB Soniq nor does it have as good digital tuner as a JB soniq.
otherwise it is a very good TV.
