Agreed. I was regretting the purchase prior to iOS 7 but now it's quite handy to have.
I would recommend it, on the proviso you don't have a watch and want some kind of accessory. I'm not sure if it's "worth it" if you have a nice watch already though.
Oh yeah the batteries are rated to 300 cycles. You need to charge every 4-7 days, so at worst it will last you ~3 years. After that it's dead as it's not user replaceable.

Will be waiting a while for a kreyos. They still have issues with it, and wont be shipping watches until Jan/Feb. And that's prepurchased/backers watches. So you could be waiting until at least March?
