    Never had any experience with Samsung drives though, I've always stuck to Liteon, Pioneer and LG, they're must-have for making 1:1 backups of almost any copy-protected CD/DVD.

    Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this drive or Samsung drives in general?

    Samsung drives are very good and very quiet, plus this is a good price. Just bought a new drive at MSY for a few dollars more - grrr!

    Dont buy from these idiots.
    They're products dont match the images.

    I ordered this Samsung 22X SATA DVD burner and when i recieved it, the whole faceplate was black with just "SuperFlex" icon on it
    I called up and said, why is it not labelled SAMSUNG on the front? I know even OEM versions you get the brand name
    They said the images on the site are used for illustration purposes only…and if i want to return it i will pay a minimum $10 restocking fee and shipping costs.
    The DVDRW looks like a clone or something. Rubbish.
