  • @theearth: I adjusted your claim URL to include the required parameters as GET because it comes up as a "page not found"; the page is actually a form-submit and if it does not receive the parameters it won't work.

      Thank you

  • another ques regarding statutory warranty - with a 1k TV although the quoted warranty is 1 year what are people's thoughts and experiences regarding invoking the stat wty within 3 years?

    • that's the problem…..if it was a 32" definitely , if it was a 40" - 50" probably…. a 60" though…do you feel lucky?

  • If anyone buys one but hates the idea of the luggage, could you please email or Pm me your docket number and date?

This tv is available for only $1058 for ex-TGG customers.

    • do you mean if i bought something from them before i can buy the TV for $1058?

      • +1

No, they recently had an online gaming clearance sale (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/123352) where, due to the inconvenience they caused customers in not being able to fulfill orders, they have promised to compensate with $40 gift vouchers.

  • Is this case suitable for hyperspace travel?

  • I click through to this to see the "Star Wars suitcase" but alas I am still none the wiser…
Wait, just saw kirk's link, and all is good. :-)

so how is the quality of the tv? really like the r2-d2 design:)

    • Ditto for both your statements :-) It'd be awesome if the r2d2 one had a little sound chip in it!

  • How on earth is that suitcase worth over $300?

    • The same way that some "upper class" Samsonite's are worth "$700". It's one of those products suffering from ridiculous RRP's.

      • Lol, silly; haven't you ever been upsold an HDMI cable?

        • +1

Not me :) My logic has always been "it's digital - the signal comes across or it doesn't". As long as the conductivity is sufficient to bring the signal across, any conductivity beyond that point is useless. It's like gold-plating your hard-drive cable to make your digital photos look better.
