is it possible to unlock these

  • Yes it's possible to unlock, I've unlocked a few, but need the phone. Bagman can remotely unlock them, so he doesn't require the phone.

    • How do you unlock the phone. I got the Boost one from Coles for $59. Any chance you can post here the info or message me. It will be very helpful.

      • I've purchased an unlocking box, and also the credits/logs to enable me to perform the unlock.

        • Usually how much does it cost to unlock a phone, apart from buying the unlock box.

  • Worth buying if you are already on Boost, but if you need to pay to unlock it, I'd rather buy a Huawei Y300 (unlocked) from eBay for around $105 delivered.

Some cheap clearance phones at Kmart at the moment. Picked up a Vodafone G300 for $39

    • Is it Vodafone G300 or G300+ , G300+ makes a lot of sense since that supports WCDMA 850/900/2100 Bands. Can you please confirm.

      • G300, so best suited to Vodafone and Telstra users.

  • This phone will work with with Aldimobile and Telstra SIMS, without being unlocked.

Its camera is not very good, and its available memory has been a limiting factor for me; but it is a nice phone, and the quality of voice calls made through it is far better than my more expensive work phone.

  • My mate referred me to Tan ([email protected]) i paid $14 to unlock Sony Xperia E and $20 for htc one xl (Dick smith prepaid)
Seems there are few around here doing the unlocks.

  • What size sim card does this take?

    • And any credit?

    • Standard size sim and it comes with $10 credit

  • (yes, cheap and good looking!) then look no further!

Sounds like your plugging yourself on the new Ozbargain dating site.

  • With any of the unlockers:
Is it a permanent unlock? i.e. do you need to unlock again after a factory reset or installing a new ROM (stock or custom).

    Y.

  • Thank you O.P. , managed to get one.
Can anyone please advise if all of the unlockers mentioned above are permanent.
i.e. do you need to unlock again after a factory reset or installing a new ROM (stock or custom).

    Thanks!

  • Not sure if anyone is aware, but there's a $20 cash-back offer on the box (at least there was on mine) that's valid until January 2014. So after that, it's a $39 phone.

Also, this price is valid for another week. Nice bit of kit for the price.

As posted here, it doesn't apply.
