$10 laptops and $20 desktops - As is / No hard drives

Since Microsoft have announced that they no longer will be supporting windows xp after April next year our company have decided to get rid of old hardware.

We are selling all laptops for $10 and all desktops for $20 in as is condition without a hard drive.

Pick-up only during business hours from Pyrmont, Sydney.

UPDATE: I just found a bunch of docking stations for these laptops and will include them free of course. :)

Update 2: Unfortuntly I decided not to post any, due to costs/hastle (I got a lot of enquires.. still tring to reply to all PM's)

UPDATE: I FOUND SOME P10's, I WILL BE SELLING THESE FOR $20 with the DOCKING STATION, I NO LONGER HAVE ANY P5's LEFT.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been responding straight away to the PM's, I have had an overwhelming response and haven't had the time.

Overall, from what I can see. All that is left are:

2 x Toshiba M600 (no Powersupply - Will do both for $10
20 x Desktops ($20 each) - I will do 5 desktops for $80

      They range, however the average laptop is a toshiba A7 or P5 and the average desktop is either a core2duo or a vPro, they all have DVD drives and probably about 1 - 2GB of RAM

    Is Toshiba P5 comes with 2 GB RAM (according to your spec link)?

      I just opened one up and it has 1GB in it, I know a lot of these have had RAM removed and placed into other machines so it could be that some have 2GB

      Throw in an HDD with Linux installed, you get a good download mule or media player or whatever other old machines do.

    Why would you use old slow junk that sucks power down when a $44 G1610 is twice as fast as an old P4 or as fast as a Core 2 with half the power, and dumps way less heat? That $20 is getting you something that should be used for target practice. There is a reason this company is getting rid of old junk (hint hint: its junk) and trying to turn a bit of profit on it. And really, dual cores are plenty bleh for all but the most basic tablet tasks.

          lets run some figures

          he looks like he has 60-70 laptops there

          at $10 each that a MASSIVE $700

          the office is in pyrmont which is one of the most expensive commericial sites in Australia

          let me put it to you that $700 wouldnt pick up the Xmas bar tab for them

    darn me being in SA…. Tho I can hardly say I personally need it, Ive been trying to find a cheap solution to replace my fathers computer….. The thing BSOD's with at least 2 different errors that i can't be stuffed looking at the Event Viewer anymore. :(

    Picked up the P10 and docking. Fully functional, typing on it now. P8600, nvs150 quadro, no hdd, HD display. RAM is only 1GB (ddr2 800), currently running puppylinux live no problem so far. for $20 this is a bahgain! Thanks op.

    I got an M800 and it doesn't seem to work. I'm thinking that the charger is the problem, I get no charge lights, battery lights, no sign of life at all. Anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks again bahgain. I think the desktop will serve my purposes nicely. I took the plunge and installed Windows 8.1 and I'm impressed with the speed. I finally know what it's like to watch full HD on Youtube :)
