Free Movie Tickets 4pm AEDT Friday (Pay with V.me @ Scoopon)

You have to pay $0.01 through v.me, which is to be refunded - same as the iTunes deal last week. (Although I noticed I haven't been refunded the 1c yet.)

It will require a v.me account. Start at Scoopon at 4pm Friday and then pay with v.me. The deal won't appear until then - just like last week.

There doesn't seem to be any details about how many tickets or which cinemas - it just indicates BCC and Event cinemas.

    • Same for me, nothing in "My Scoopon" section, and I got No email too and nothing in my transaction history in V.me account either. So its like no evidence I even bought it.

      I tried to buy it a 2nd time, and exactly the same thing again. So have purchased twice now and have got no confirmation or any indication I actually bought it.

      Any advice?

      UPDATE: Just checked again in "My Scoopons" and now it appears there as "Pending".

    Thought I got mine but the phone app has "processing' in red under My Scoopons. Is this how it's supposed to look or is it stuck?
    EDIT: OK, it is shown as 'pending' in browser but as 'processing' in app.

  • Internet Explorer (don't ask) got stuck on "Processing Order".
    Tried Firefox and it was done in seconds.

    • It says it in the Fine Print section:
      "Limit of 1 Scoopon may be purchased for personal use; Scoopon gift purchases not permitted"

      So you can only buy one, and not allowed to buy it as gifts either apparently.

  • I was using my iphone app refreshed a lot and showed 47899 or something added to art and locked my vme account and tried to make another account and the voucher link disappeared dam!

    • I got one of each, though the ticket for Moonlight Cinema still says 'pending' in my account and I have yet to receive an email confirmation for it (the one for Event is confirmed).

    Both me and my wife got 1 ticket each on separate Scoopon accounts - but using the same v.me account. Just giving the heads up to people who were wondering.

  • My friend and I both accidentally got the Event voucher (both now have the "AVAILABLE IN 4 DAYS" status), before getting the right Moonlight (Melbourne) ones. If anyone wants to swap the two vouchers for two Moonlight vouchers, please message me.

  • Voucher is available under My Scoopon now but it is Scoopon issued standard voucher and it is clearly mentioned that it can't be used to redeem movie.

  • I received one voucher but my sister tried to get one on my v.me account on my computer but under her scoopon login and just received this email:

    During our recent Event Cinemas and V.me promotion an anomaly was detected. We have isolated a large number of purchases made from the same IP address and/or in the same name. Please note that the terms of use permit only one voucher per person.

    This email address has been identified as one in a series of purchases, therefore we are unable to send a voucher through. The one cent processing fee will be refunded automatically and your Scoopon voucher will be cancelled.

    Received the Event Cinemas ticket in an email a couple of days ago.
    The only catch is it doesn't work after 5pm on Saturdays.
    I noticed that an extra $1 was charged on my card and it hasn't been refunded yet…
