Kindle Fire HD 8.9 / Nook 9" Case $11 Delivered: 30%Off Code & Free Intl Shpg Deal at Tuff-Luv

30xmas

I just used a 30% off code, plus free delivery, to get a clearance-item cover for a Kindle Fire HD.
This might be useful to other OzBargain users needing a cover: especially if you have a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (Dick Smith $229 deal) or one of the Nook 9" clearance deals.
Tuff-luv is also offering lifetime warranty.

This is the cover I bought for the KF HD 8.9. I hope this helps someone.
Slim-Stand Faux Leather Case cover (inc Sleep function) for Amazon Kindle Fire HD (8.9") / Nook 9" HD - 'Carbon' Black for £6.12 delivered.

There are some great deals on Samsung tablet and phone cases, too and remember the VAT is removed so prices will be under £4 delivered for some items.

Kindle and Nook owners, please comment on this cover and the deal generally.
I've been looking for something with auto sleep and reasonable quality for six months! How would you rate this deal? Thanks.

  • Faux leather = vinyl?

Those elastic straps on the corners make it look cheap and nasty.
I doubt it will give protection from a drop either.
I'll stick to my simple neoprene cover.

    • Sorry but I've not found anything like the real leather, Amazon branded covers with free shipping to Australia.

I've been looking for a LONG time and deals overseas usually come with ripoff shipping prices that kill the deal.

manic, I have two KFHD tablets in this house; the old 7"neoprene bag from an old Asus 7" netbook is covering the other one! It's a great fit, so I agree to some degree with you!

      • That's exactly what I have. From the 7" EeePC.
Those leather cases look nice, but add a lot of weight.
I never understand why Apple markets the iPad/iphone as being so thin, but then everyone adds a thick cover. Why not just use it naked?
I also fear a cover will ruin the excellent sound from the Kindle speakers.

So while the covers do look nice, I don't think they are very practical.

  • Thanks bizi for sharing the offer. Have been on the lookout since the Dick Smith deal from a while ago.

This looks good and alot cheaper then the $40 Belkin one.

    • Thanks for the feedback.

Locally it's really just a choice of the Belkin covers or something on eBay.
Often there will be good offers overseas but the shipping kills the deal.

I hope this deal is good for some people who have tablets like the KFHD 8.9, Nook 9" and for other deals at this website. The Samsung tablet and phone covers/cases are great in some cases too.
