Popped into Aldi yesterday and they have all sorts of nice kites for only $6.
This includes massive two string stunt kites. a really big diamond kite, mice delta kite, a box kite and some other interesting design.
The build quality is pretty good for this price with fibre glass rods and polyester canvas. From previous experience, the only issue maybe the stiching but you can easily fix that if you come across a dodgy one or just get it replaced.
Get it before you go to the beach
Bought 3 yesterday. One of the stunt kites is 115cm long. Depending on the kites, length of line varies between 35 to 50m. Wouldn't mind a longer line but otherwise kites look decent.
bought one yesterday. box kite. taking it down down to the park this morning to try out.
saw a dude pick up 6. -stocking fillers.
loved the box kite flying.
went back and bought a few more of them and a couple of other designs for nieces and nephew for Xmas.
I bought 4 of these last year. The butterfly looks fantastic but is a bit hard to fly. The bat goes straight up and holds in the air really well. They are really good for the price and made for a few fun days out.
My delta kite had poor stitching. So easy to fly though
Wife bought 2 of these for the kids yesterday and they have been loving them today down at the park. worked really well.
