    On it like someone who likes cupcakes but doesn't have the willpower to eat said cupcakes (politically correct analogy).

    Didn't get an opportunity to drop in for a long black but I'm now in my new residence in Townsville. I've upgraded from my Jura Ena to the Breville Dual Boiler, which isn't Italian but I can't afford to pay an extra $800 for an Italian named coffee machine. That said it's working wonders and I look forward to seeing what I can get out of these sample packs.

      I've seen (and tasted) the Breville Dual Boiler in action at a friend's place a few weeks ago and it does kick some major butt for the money. Myself, I've had a Rancilio setup for a few years and after ironing out the kinks have learnt to pull some great shots from beans like these.

      Hey Kyle, Good news there are 3 different types of Yemen beans on their way on a boat at the moment. These are very difficult to get hold of.

      Due to the huge popularity on the last Yemen promo I will be running a triple Yemen deal when they arrive. More than likely in the new year now ;-)

        I got a 100g sample of Yemeni beans (not sure which ones, but they were very small) from a friend at work who does his own roasting, and they were something else. He got them direct from a friend who was an importer.

      A good high altitude washed coffee like the Colombian Huila Organic. Definately aim for a high altitude wahed coffee. Plenty of Guatemala and South American coffees available on our site. Give me a ring if you need any help

      The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and El Salvador coffee would be particularly good for long black and the PNG is a good espresso coffee. Indian Tiger and Guatemala good milk coffees and Colombian good all rounder. To be honest they're all pretty versatile and good opportunity to experiment :-)

      Hi Frantelle, Thanks for your feedback and glad you're enjoying the coffee. We will run something similar at various stages next year but I can't give a definite date at this stage. We have a big shipment of a great new specialty Colombian microlot Inza Calca arriving in a few weeks so I expect the first couple of deals will be incorporating this somehow.

    I bought the 8 Varieties and they smell great. Just wondering if you have any recommendations for best brew methods for the different beans ie espresso, aeropress, plunger, drip filter etc. I'd especially like to know what you would recommend to use with a large French press after Christmas lunch and also the beans to try for my daily espresso based flat white? Also, do you have some ranking of strengths of each of them?
