Just got a note from Camel3 that the Blu Ray box set for Breaking Bad has dropped from £82 to £50. Once you remove VAT and add shipping, it comes to ~$83, which is close to half of the Australian RRP, and the UK is the same region as Australia.

For those of us who weren't lucky enough to grab it for half price in the Big W sale. Most likely won't arrive in time for Christmas though, sadly.

    Managed to pick this up from BigW at the Bluray sale the other day for $74.. looking forward to watching it after I pass it off as a Christmas present for the Mrs :)

      yeah i remember when dvd box sets first come out here
      each season of the xfiles was around $90 per season for dvd
      never as bad as DBZ Dvds which were $25 for 3 episodes (out of 291)

      The barrel looks Sooo much better sitting on the shelf.
      It has a extra disk under barrel lid with extra content. Not sure if standard box set has that.

    Be careful as the users in the BB thread on Whirlpool have been caught out with mixed regions on the discs in the collectors barrel. Some were region A only, some ABC.

      That's why I've been waiting for the UK version to go on sale - it's typically a bit more expensive than the US, but knowing for sure the discs will play on pretty much any device in Australia is worth it.
