not negging, but arent these exactly the same prices at least for the USB's for the previous month??

    • Maybe free delivery on this deal rather than last month?

      • Free delivery for ANY item on the link.

  • Still waiting for internal 3.5 drive on sales.

120 gb is rather attractive but it is a bit small in size and write speed, mlc options from rival brands are some 15 less
The 250 price has no advantage against msy.
If it is 172, I will get one.
The pro model has been at this price range since early this year… Likes of itestate msy all at some time offer similar or lower prices

    • The 256 GB pro for $239 is a good price though. Beats msy by $10.

  • yea still waiting for a cheaper 120 for a ps3 upgrade, maybe ill have to wait till after christmas :(

  • It was 235 at itestate in feb :)

I almost brought it, but they had the 840 on the same time for 187

  • Looking for an SSD for my Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530, Core i5-3210M notebook. Would Samsung Evo 120GB be good? Or should I look for Pro series?

    • All depends on what u use it for, I had a pre ultra book centrino use as mobile productivity system, first I put 64gb in it, it still managed 34 gb for me to use.
Now it has a 128 gb sandisk, more than enough
I got a core i5 2nd gen gaming capable system I use 250 840 and the old hard drive in odd bay.
I put games on ssd, that eats lots of space, so 12x not enough.

      • Thanks for that. I only use it for normal web browsing, word processing etc. Not into games, so don't need much space. I just want to achieve the fast booting, and also same time on copying/pasting of large files etc.

Also it would be great if someone could tell me the difference between the following SSD available on Amazon for Samsung Evo:

        Single Unit Version
        Notebook Kit Version

        • +1

I got no idea, but they mostly about the package come with transfer cables / desktop mounts etc

Like the Kingston's notebook kit will come with a USB enclosure for you to transfer data from original hard drive to ssd or use it as a mobile drive.
The intel 530 reseller package I got has the desktop mounts, screws and Sata cables
But the samsungs I got and sandisk come only with the drive itself, no other stuff but cd for the software or some stick on thicken mount to convert drive thickness back to 9.5 mm

You can get USB drives / drive mounts on evil bay for less than ten shipped

          Then, google is our friend:

  • Been a few days already including last sales. Trying to get 250 evo, but it keep saying

"Sorry. We don't have enough 'MZ-7TE250BW' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again."…. only had one in the cart.

    • The 250 evo is now out of stock. I bought one in the afternoon.

  • Isn't really a great deal even with free shipping

  • Received my 250 evo this morning (Sunday).
