GET IT FOR JUST $192.10
The Mrs said she really wanted a steam mop for Xmas before we move into our new 'heavily tiled' palace in a few weeks. So I came across this beauty which has a RRP of $349.
Most shops are selling it for just $299, but I noticed Hardly Normal advertising this $50 Cashback promotion bringing it down to just $249.
On further investigation I found it at the GoodGuys on special for just $269! (Which was perfect considering the Mrs was just recently sent an SMS by GG with a code offering $20 OFF with a no min spend!)
Anyway, I went in today and asked if they could do any better on the price but they didn't have stock!
So, a quick search online brings up Masters selling them for $278. BooYeah… Price match!!!
Went down to Masters to grab one, showed them the GG special and got my 10% OFF… Just $242.10.
Now I'll send off for my $50 Cashback promo and I'll end up paying a measly $192.10!
Ps. I used the $20 voucher code at GG and grabbed some extra mop pads for free!

    A couple of points to note:
    The ticket at GG said the special ended 20/1/2014 and the $50 Cash Gift Card offer from Bissell finishes on 31/12/2013!
    And I'll make it even again…

    My local masters (Braybrook) doesnt do price beat on appliances anymore, they just matching it.

      Edit: And I was quite prepared to pay $219 for it. The rest was just a bonus!!!

      Actually… I'm without scanner at the moment, but I'll throw up a copy of the Masters receipt at some stage. That way, you should be able to get them to match their own pricing!!! ;)

    I have this steam mop. The steam is powerful, but the cloth needs to be chaned once per use, or it will start smelling. Also, I find the mop tends to stink when the filter is older.
    On a different note, we bought this thinking that the carpet glider attachment would fit this, but rest assured the carpet glider attachment is for another model only, without the ability to lift off.

      Thanks for the info. Reviews I'd read said similar things about changing the pad once or twice during use. That's why I grabbed the extras!
      There's a lot of mixed feeling about steam mops out there. Hopefully we'll be in the positive!
