Xbox 360-E 4GB $89 after Cashback @ JB Hi-Fi (if You Use Gift Cards from Previous Deal = $59)

110

JB has raised price from $169 to $189 but if you take into consideration the bonus $30 eGift card from Mastercard deal, this would still cost much less than Big W, Target and microsoft

$100 gift card + $89 cash - $30 eGift card - $100 Cashback = Effectively $59 for the console

Previous deal : Spend $100+ with Mastercard Online, Get $30 Egift Card @ JB Hifi

  • Cheap with gift card from previous offer but if you can't do it there are many other options too.

  • Did anyone confirm receiving their $30 egift card after buying the $100 gift card from the previous deal yet?

  • -1

    it will be 23% off $89 = $68.53

    • +1

      pretty sure $89-$30=$59

That is your $100 gift card + $30 free voucher then $59 upfront then cash back later of $100.

      • Sorry, my bad.

  • Haven't used JBHifi Online before, does their system accept multiple e-giftcards in one transaction like DSE does?

    • +2

      maximum of two

      • Any way to allow more? Especially for people who bought multiple cards.

  • Damn my eyes hurt every time I see their advert. Their graphics remind me of the 60's Batman series (Ka POW).

  • hope they have stock, or else my gift cards will go to waste

    • I'll have your gift cards if you don't want them

      • +2

        pls respond

      • hahah i guess i'll have to see on boxing day then. Does anyone know if you can get the xbox online?

  • +1

Couldn't you buy the XBOX directly with Mastercard online to then get the voucher later? Why buy the gift card now?

    • +1

So the extra $30 can be spent on the Xbox itself, rather than having to then buy another item from JB.
However, it takes up to 3 days for the $30 voucher to arrive, so I wouldn't buy a $100 gift card now if you plan to use both on the xbox.

      • Can the $30 be used in store, given it's an eGift Card? I have no idea what the eGift card is, will they send another physical card as well?

        • asked too much mate. you can always call them…

        • eGift cards can be printed and used in-store, yes. Although I'm pretty sure they both email and post a copy to you with this deal.

    • people are buying 10 x $100 gift card, deal might sold out by tomorrow.

If you are thinking of ordering online, watch out for this clause in the T&Cs at https://www.xbox360cashback.com.au/tc/

For the purposes of this promotion, pre-ordering an Xbox 360 4GB console through an Australian retailer will not be deemed an Eligible Purchase. Further, the Offer is not available for products that are still awaiting arrival into store or delivery to the customer.

    • thanks! will not take the risk of ordering online then

      • -1

No worries, I'm not sure exactly how they know if you've taken delivery or not, but a couple ways I can think of are:

        a) you need the serial number off the XBOX
        b) you may not receive a proper invoice/receipt from the retailer until you take delivery

  • interesting … these things are only seeing for 120$ second hand with kinetic
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MICROSOFT-XBOX-360-S-4GB-CONSOLE-…

  • I don't see any sell information about xbox360 4g on jbhifionline.com.au…

  • JB has raised price from $169 to $189

    I told you so

cheaper at Target anyway ( not everyone bought that gift cards from JB including me)

The people should stop posting the deal if unsure about the price ( chasing votes from popular deal is not the best thing)

    • you can still grab the gift cards right now.
      Its not too late.

  • Does anyone know if the 320gb hardrive they are advertising will fit the 4gb Xbox?

  • The cash back promotion starts from 25 Dec and specifies it needs to be 'retailer' not 'online auction' site. But there is no store open on 25 Dec! How do we grab one from day 1?

    • +1

you dont. see you in line on 26th =)

  • well pretty quiet at 8AM this morning at JB Narre Warren

  • Just bought the XBox cosole at Westfield Doncaster JB Hifi. The cashier allowed me to use 2 x $100 gift card without the physical card. I printed out the email and she just manually entered the card number. don't even need the PIN.

I still have $11 left on my gift card plus 2 x $30 bonus Gift Card.

    Thanks OZ Bargain!

    • nope.. JB Narre had no idea how to enter the numbers, they insisted on the physical card to scan the barcode.

  • Edited. Duplicate comment.

  • Purchased and submitted cashback form. Haven't received a confirmation email. I'd advise anyone who submits to take screenshots! Sent an email asking for confirmation.

Did anyone else receive a confirmation email?

    • I immediately received the confirmation email after submitting the cash back form.

The form didn't ask for serial number of the console. Just the name of store and location. And a copy of the receipt which you can upload online or post it with the printed form.

  • I can't bring myself to go through all the trouble for a platform I don't care about :( if it was $9 maybe as someone hypothesized but even at $50 I just can't do it.
