The problem is availability of 3d content …. There is not much content available in 3D …

So what's the point in buying something that you will rarely use… ?

    Also, check this out http://reviews.cnet.com/3dtv-buying-guide/

    This looks a better deal …. http://www.dicksmith.com.au/tvs/jvc-48-fhd-led-lcd-tv-lt-48n…

    Size does matter … :)

Plenty of 3d content on 3d blurays. 3d is a nice to have, for movies and games

Couldn't agree more. YouTube even has 3D videos as well as … other -Tube websites. Lots of 3D Blurays out now, lots! 3D gaming can also be very fun.

  • You don't work for DSE by any chance do you Paul??, before you ask the same of me my last job was at DSE Burwood back in 2010 I have CP haven't worked since.

    • Nopes, Just moved from Florida to Melbourne, Looking to buy a good & inexpensive TV for the last couple of weeks.

      • A decent volume of major titles are released in 3d. Dont see how you can claim there is no content out there.

      • You're a couple of weeks to late then.

  • almost half price than last year I paid for similar model, nice find.

  • So any comments on the quality of the TV? Compared with say http://www.sony.com.au/product/kdl-40r450a

And I dont care about 3D, I have that now in the lounge, TV came with 4 sets of glasses, never used them. But thats just us, we cant be bothered. I couldnt say how much content was around for them. This would be a bedroom TV.
