Saw this and thought I would share, for $70 it is a cheap kids present.

I had a play with the demo model, seems smooth and snappy. The few games work well and typing was easy.

I used my SD card with a movie to install on it. It worked well and sounds ok (not great but it works).

    Are these models identical or is the $49 the previous model? (which may have a resistive touch screen)

      From what I heard they failed to pay license fees & were taken out by a major Japanese manufacturer. I am 99.9% certain this is the manufacturer.

  Hmm I just need it to run a single Android app (DJI Vision) for my flying Quadrocopter….ie use it effectively as a monitor running mostly 1 app. Does the $49 version mean you can't access Google Play store and download the APP?

  At $49 then might be a good buy for my simple need.

    if you can get the apk from elsewhere you should be able to install without google play
