  • I wish someone would put Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate together as a bundle. Until then I guess we'll just have to make do.

Great price for the base version, although the ozbargainer within me feels compelled to wait for a 75% off ultimate edition on Steam before relaxing the purse-strings (currently $6.79 is 66% off on Steam).

Oh, look what I just found: http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/fallout-new-vegas-ultimate…

$4.99 USD for Ultimate Edition. Just bought it there, and activated it fine on Steam. Might want to update your description with the $4.99 USD price ::)

    • Thanks. I've edited the title and description.
Unfortunately the site won't allow me to update the link

Definitely get the Ultimate Edition. The DLCs are fantastic, better than the main story in many ways.

    • I spent 200hrs on this game, or so Steam told me.
Definitely go for the $5 Ultimate, that $2.5 difference is so worth it.
Near the 200hr mark, I finished Lonesome Road. I was ready to smash that braided asshat after he said "The Divide!" for the thousand time.

The three other DLC I skipped them entirely, Dead Money/Sierra Madre had potential can't be arsed eating rad-ridden junk food just to restore health drainage due to the toxic cloud.

The DLC about tribals and the research facility .. meh couldn't care less.

  • Such a fun fun game. Bought 3 copies for myself and some friends - we've been playing religiously for 3 months now.

  • Never really got into this game.

Prolly cause I thrashed Fallout 3 and felt this was too samey to get invested in it again.

WIll give it another go one day.

    • nooooooooo!
Try NV you won't be disappointed, the story is way ahead of F3 and really connects well with the Fallout 1+2 world of California. NV should have been F3 and the Washington based F3 should be an expansion pack or something

  • I still don't get what's the differences between standard & ultimate edition.
If I'm only playing single-player story mode, which one should I get?

Fallout: New Vegas content including the full suite of highly acclaimed add-on content: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. To sweeten the pot, you’ll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal.

You can get New Vegas Ultimate edition for $4.50 here - http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/en_AU/pd/productID.2912247… with 10thanks code.

    • Good deal for those who prefer (or don't mind) using the uPlay client.

      • Use the serial number you get to redeem in Steam, no need to use Uplay.

Cool. Didn't realise you could do that :)

        • I'll admit, I only found out because someone on reddit (gamedeals) was like "noo, don't get the Steam deal on Fallout, do this!"

    • This is the best deal, only AUD $4.50.
