  • The Seagate one on promotion from 9289 is $152.99, better than Maxtor.

    • Yep, cheaper ($152.99) with free shipping.

    • Yeah, but that ends tomorrow and you are limited to one per customer.

    • Which model is the Seagate one? It does not specify on the site.
      Is it the FreeAgent one?

  • I saw this today, but I have seen several stores cheaper than this though. Not a BARGAIN!

    • Which stores have you seen the Maxtor 1TB Basics for less than $164 currently?

  • Hmm.. I thought somebody posted that 9289 was all out of those seagate externals. I think the WD Mybook is a safer bet. I rang up Hardley Normals the other day and they said their WD Mybook was $219. Office Works has it for $199.. will they likely dock 10% (price guarantee) off the OW price?

    Thanks

Does anybody know how this one looks like?

  • Bought 1 of these last year in November for $185 and have had absolutely no problems with it.
