  • I was going to post this a few days ago, but then I did some tests. The price comes up the same whether you go direct or via the Scoopon affiliate link. TID is still cheaper when using any of the current promo codes doing the rounds.

Can you post the promo codes? We are heading to Tasmainian next week.

for TID you can use TIDTHANKS for 10% off

Can you post the promo codes?

Sure, try these: TIDTHANKS TIDREPEAT TID2013. Just tested them for Bali and all work with differing amounts of discounts. Have a great trip.

      • dan76n we were looking for travel insurance for Tassie recently and found that amongst those that offer domestic cover, the one offered by Austpost was very well priced. Obviously you'd need to look into whether the inclusions covered everything you want, of course.

For what it's worth, their yearly cover is for some reason cheaper than for a short trip.

    • I tried the same, but when I tried it in private browsing the discount didn't come off.

Do they cover snow sport as well? Planning to go snowboarding in Japan

I'm doing the same soon. Read the product disclosure statement carefully. Some travel insurances have a long list of activities they don't cover and one I read didn't cover bushwalking, hiking, trekking, skiing, snowboarding, boating, absailing… anything fun at all!

tl:dr, read PDS and make sure what you're doing is covered.

  • Thanks for posting this deal. I got an excellent quote for my family of four to travel to Thailand and Malaysia next week. I love this website

  • Thanks OP, bought for my trip, really good price. I found TID is more expensive even with the code.

  • i like http://www.zuji.com.au/insurance because i can just choose medical only and its only around $34 for 2 weeks in the Philippines. Underwritten by Allianz Australia

  • I use Worldtravel as I like to get a good history that I can point to if I ever have to actually claim. What's the code for the Worldtravel deal as it's just coming up normal price? Thanks OP

    • Do you mean world care? If so, just click through the link above

  • Yes, mean WC … did click but didn't see any ref to 15% off. What am I doing wrong? Anyway, I'll try again now.
